The New Saints delivered a stunning performance in their latest pre-season match, overwhelming the Isle of Man with an impressive 8-0 victory. This match, held at Park Hall, marked their first public friendly of the summer, and the club displayed their attacking prowess by scoring six goals in the second half. Ben Wilson was the standout player, netting a hat-trick that showcased his finishing skills. The breakthrough came in the 41st minute when Wilson fired a shot from the edge of the area to open the scoring. Just before halftime, he doubled the lead by converting a corner from Leo Smith, sending the ball into the roof of the net. After the break, Wilson completed his hat-trick shortly after the restart, converting a cross from Brad Young. Young then added two goals of his own, further extending the lead. Dan Williams contributed with a powerful strike for the sixth goal, while substitutes Lewis Wynne and Jake Morris rounded off the scoring in the final minutes. With this dominant display, The New Saints are now looking forward to their Champions League fate, as the draw for the first qualifying round is set to take place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Tuesday. As one of the 14 seeded clubs, they aim to progress towards the league phase.
