The New Saints (TNS) have sent a full set of last season's match‑worn away kit to Mlindzini School in Eswatini. The 6,000‑mile journey was organised by sponsor Recycling UK Limited, with Neil Clarke and commercial manager Simon O’Reilly coordinating the donation.

A Global Partnership

Recycling UK Limited, headquartered in Tarporley, worked with Macron Sports Hub in Wrexham to assemble a complete set of match‑worn TNS away strip. Neil Clarke of the company and Simon O’Reilly of TNS’s commercial team ensured the kit was ready for transport.

Students Deliver the Gift

The kit was taken to southern Africa by a group of students and teachers from Abbey Gate College, near Chester. The college makes a bi‑annual trip to Eswatini to support the local community. This year, the students helped construct a new Grade 0 classroom in the remote Mlindzini community.

Building a Classroom

The new classroom is valued at E70,000, roughly £60,000. Students raised funds and assisted local builders by clearing land, mixing cement and assembling roof frames. The facility will provide early childhood education for the community.

Wearing the TNS Name

Pupils at Mlindzini School received the kit and are now wearing it on local pitches. The shirts, shorts and socks will see regular action across southern Africa, carrying the TNS name and showcasing the club’s growing global presence.

Thanks and Recognition

TNS thanked Neil Clarke, Recycling UK Limited, Simon O’Reilly, Macron Sports Hub and everyone at Abbey Gate College for making the donation possible. The club congratulated the students on their work in Mlindzini.

The new classroom will serve as an early childhood education facility for the remote Mlindzini community.
